In 2007, John Spiotta Jr. founded a company called Action Packaging. He has been in and around the Aerospace Industry of Long Island for over two decades. He started working in a machine shop right out of high school, starting in the assembly and shipping departments, and then eventually moving into quality. John has another business that still brings him into the aerospace manufacturing facilities today. After speaking with shipping personnel, it seems that, after two decades, they were still having problems with parts being damaged in transit to their customers. John now had an idea of how to solve their problem of parts being damaged in transit to their customers.

John started to create a packaging solution and look into his next venture in business. He discovered that there were a few packaging companies that would support a small to mid-sized company with creating custom foam-insert packaging containers, warehousing their containers, delivering product when needed, and most of all, at a reasonable price. There are manufacturers that require a truckload minimum or more, and there are distributors with high overhead. John soon partnered with a small number of these reputable manufacturers that want to serve growing companies. We are all about saving our customer’s money, and delivering responsible packaging supplies with high quality, and efficiency.

This “new” packaging method has been proven to be ninety-percent faster than the old bubble wrapping method, leading it to be a time saver in labor and materials.
